It's bean soup

1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
2 carrots
1 potato
1 leek
1 tin "mixed beans" or tin of your favourite sort of beans, drained and rinsed
1 tin sweetcorn, drained (or similar amount frozen sweetcorn).
2 pints (1 litre or a bit more) stock, either home-made or from a cube
Seasoning to taste

Peel and chop onion, carrot, potato and leek, and crush garlic. Place in saucepan with stock and boil until vegetables are cooked. Liquidise the result, and put back in saucepan. Add beans, corn and seasoning and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
